The RGL7 is a standalone shock absorber pack. It is commonly seen being used on our lanyards, but can also be used on its own without adding an additional lanyard.
When used as an absorber on its own, the maximum user weight may be increased to 140kg as the free fall distance is reduced. Ensure compatibility of performance and maximum user weight with the additional equipment being used.
If used with a rope grab without extending its length, it ensures the user is distanced from the rope during work, freeing up the working area and also ensuring the rope is protected from sharp tools.
The shock absorber is a durable pouch which protects the energy absorbing webbing from abrasion or contaminants. The pouch has a zipped opening which is accessible for any routine inspections.
A range of steel or aluminium connectors are available.
