The sliding beam anchor (RGA22), also known as a beam anchor trolley, is a specialised piece of PPE (personal protective equipment) which creates a mobile anchor point. It offers continuous safety and mobility when working on horizontal beams. It reduces the risk of the pendulum effect (swinging) if a fall is to take place, unlike a fixed anchor.

Made from a combination of premium steel and aluminium alloy, making the beam anchor strong and durable, but also keeping weight low and manageable at 1.9kg.
It works as part of a fall arrest system when coupled with a fall arrest block/self-retracting lifeline or a safety lanyard. The beam anchor will glide with the user ensuring they are anchored constantly during tasks. No need to connect and reconnect, removing the risk of working unprotected between anchor points, improving safety and productivity.

Movement is effortless, the trolley doesn’t have wheels, so benefits from not having an additional part which could go wrong. It still runs smoothly along the beam and allows for hands-free traversal.
The beam anchor is adjustable, allowing it to fit a wide range of beam flange widths, ranging from 110mm to 358mm. The trolley comes with release buttons making adjustment quick and simple. It eliminates the need for tools and means the anchor can be removed easily from one beam and used elsewhere.

Designed for a single user only.
The beam anchor trolley is ideal for tasks which require long distance horizontal movement, such as in warehouses, steel erection on construction sites, bridge work and industrial maintenance. Can also be used for rope access applications.
